Drama Teachers have their own [insert superhero innuendo here] caves.

You know, after only three hours of sleep, I am surprisingly very serene feeling.  Sure, I would love to sleep in this chair at the library that always makes crunchy noises when I sit in it, but I honestly can't complain.  Last night I was up to 1 finishing a math project.  Monday, I was up to 12:30 finishing an english project.  Why so late?  Procrastination my friends!  It's like a drug... don't do it.

Where as procrastination is a drug, coffee drinks are your friends... sure they have so many calories that your body has a spaz attack, but they are ever so tasty AND they give you energy.  Until you get in bed, then it's like your a dead weight except you still waller in your bed aka "The Buffalo Wallow."

But you know, I think I have a solution.  When you look for bad, you find it.  You have to make the best of every situation.  That's why ever night I thank God for the good things AND the bad things.  Both define who we are as a person and there is always something good in something bad.  For example, even though I only got three hours of sleep, I also had an excuse to get a Javalance. (AND NOW THEY HAVE PUMPKIN!  SO EXCITED!)

And regardless of my ridiculous hours spent on homework and the virtual disappearing act my social life has taken, I am learning a lot.  And that's what college is about, right?  I have my advisor meeting today with Susan Brown-Strauss (her office is in a hole too.  What is it about theatre and lightless cave offices?) and I suppose I get to talk about classes and stuff, hopefully getting an Acting I next semester.  Peter Savage came and talked to our class about improv, the rules of it like how to keep a conversation going and stuff.  (And I already knew all of it.  Duh.) And he told us how we do a butt load of it in his class.  And although I HATE improv (Why do you think I always say "You...you...JERK!"  It's because I can't think on my feet, obviously.) but I think I will have fun with it.

 Turns out also that I am automatically a BFA in theatre even though I didn't audition and you have to to have a BFA. Hm...

Ooo and this is my comment to all the Les Mis hype that has been seen drifting across the blogs:

I hate you.

No, I really hate you and I have a reason.  Abigail's mom's best friend got tickets through Drakes.  Warren Drake, his wife, Aunt Dale and her friend were all going to go see Les Mis.  Warren Drake and his wife: didn't go.  If he had called the night before with his two free tickets (with no one taking them) guess who would have been crying like a baby during "On My Own" and  "Javert's Suicide."  Me.  But I was instead, on an honors college trip at Flat Rock.  Fortunately I had a good time, the show was very well done (THE ACTING WAS HUGE AND I LLOOVEEEDD IT.) but the set, which was set in a cheep hotel, didn't really look like it to me. The colors were bland, but it was a good design.  JUST MORE COLOR!  Garh.

It was called Unnecessary Farce, and indeed a farce it was.  Over the top movements, slamming doors, normal characters in a ridiculous situation and most of all, crude humor.  No bad language, but not something I would take Nikki to see.  

And does anyone know if Assassins is good, because it only has nine songs and each one is like 10 minutes long.  I hate that.

Pee.Ess They're making a Saw V?  WHY?!

So I've never actually seen a Saw movie, but it seems like it would be all the same:  lots of gore and no story line.  Which is what our lives would be like if we walked off stage during the middle of a production.

You can deny it all you want, but everyone knows I'm right.
